Kerianne Brown and the {cocoon}

More photos from my wonderful customers! This time Kerianne Brown shares some stunning images of her recent newborn in the Buff {cocoon}. As you can see they photograph really well in B&W too! Kerianne, these are just beautiful, thank you for sharing.

{the wrap}... not just for newborns...

...well not your typical newborn! I just love my customers. I have sold over 150 {the wrap} and 40 {cocoons} to people all over the world. And it is always a wonderful surprise to either stumble on a photograph with one of my products being used or to get a sweet little email with pictures. This particular email just made me smile!

It inspired me to share a photo I had done of my German Shepherd Ginger's little babies from 2 months ago. {the wrap} has many uses...don't let the norm lock you into newborns. Let it help you think outside of the box...and push your creativity. And don't forget to share with me!

We are just about caught up on the orders...way faster than expected!! So we are ready to take more pre-orders. Note; Surf will take a little longer than others. The yarn is currently backordered. We have it ordered and it should be here in March. You can still pre-order it, just note that it will take a little longer.

The Wrap

I have had a lot of new inquiries about The Wrap. The colors that were on the old blog are mostly unavailable now. But we are currently collecting new colors and textures for more wraps. The Wrap generally sells out in a matter of 1-3 hours when we post 50 or so. If you are serious about trying to get a wrap, please add your name on the mailing list and you will be notified as soon as new wraps are available.

We are taking pre-orders on the {cocoon}. I will posting new images and colorways in the next few days.

Thank you all for your interest and patience. We are excited about our products and could have never anticipated such demand. Once we get a handle on the demand we hope things will begin to run smooother!

cocoon. details

Note*** Olive. Is not shown. It is a pine, meets olive, meets apple green. Images will come soon (the prototype was not done yet).

The cocoon is made of:
80% Acrylic. 16% wool. 4% other fibers.

The wooden button cuffs that accompany the cocoon are made out of various woods. Each cuff is different and organic in shape. The button cuff is an accessory. It can be totally removed or used in different location of the cocoon. Whatever suits your needs.

The cocoon has a lot of stretch and will fit various size babies with ease. It is open halfway down the front for ease of putting the baby in and wrapping ability. I have found it very versatile. If you have an awake baby, or a squirmer, swaddle the baby tight with a small blanket or peice of fabric and then put the baby in the {cocoon}. (I had to on the rust image). There are no seams on the {cocoon} so you can photograph it from all sides or angles.

Due to the time involvement in creating these we are doing them on an as ordered basis. Right now the first 5 orders will ship in 1-2 weeks. Orders after that will ship 2-4 weeks depending on where you are on the list. I will inform you on your status when you place the order.
